Day 3 - Nara + Minoh Park; 4th Nov 2008

Woke up slightly earlier today. Drank milk and had a biscuit for my breakfast.
Mummy say i will get to feed deers today...hmmm... sound interesting, but will it bite me Free Smiley Face Courtesy of www.FreeSmileys.org

Took the train to Nara, the journey was shorter than going to Kyoto.
When we arrived at the station, we saw a monk standing in front of this statue.

Our 1st stop was at Kofukuji Temple :

There's alot of deers around the whole temple.
Mummy bought a stack of deer biscuit @ 150yen for me to feed the deers.
At first i was abit scared to touch the deer as it seems like it will bite...but after a while, i was totally enjoying the feeding. Soon a bunch of Japanese girls start to surround me shouting "ka-waii-ne" and kept taking photos of me...i felt like a little "movie star"

This is the 5-storey Pagoda at Kofukuji Temple ...

Me enjoying myself around the park....i soon fell asleep after this...

2nd venue : Sasayaki no Komichi lane (Romantic walking course)
I was sleeping while Daddy and Mummy walk this Romantic Lane...

3rd stop was at Todaiji Temple :
This was the street linking to the Temple...see Mummy trying to take photo with the deers.

Entrance of the Todaiji Temple :

Me..still asleep ... Zzzz

When i woke up...its already my Lunch-Time, yummy time for my porridge!

When we entered the Temple, there's a washing bay. Daddy say we must wash our hands before entering the Temple :

Mummy lighting a candle and me knocking the bell to bless our family :

Some photos taken around Todaiji Temple:

Mummy say touching this Huge Log will give us good luck :

Towards the back of the Temple, there's 1 huge pillar and right below is a hole.
It is said that whoever can squeeze thru the hole in this "healing pillar" will be guaranteed a place in heaven. Yes...i managed to squeeze thru...2 times!!!

This is the shopping area in Nara, which Daddy & Mummy had their late lunch @ 3pm:

Katsu Don & Udon

After that we headed for Minoh Park, a very wrong choice made, cos when we reach there it was already nearly 6pm...and the road up to the waterfall is 2.6KM, and mind you its a HILL!!!
Along the way, we were nearly chased by monkeys, cos they saw plastic bags hanging on my strollers and thought that there's food in it.
When we reached the top...we couldn't see anything except TOTAL Darkness. We could only hear the sound of the waterfall.

Poor Daddy & Mummy's legs were aching so badly after this "hiking" trip.

Taken at the bottom of the hill.

After this we went back to Osaka - Shinsaibashi to shop for Mummy's Burberry Blue Label @ Daimaru.
Daddy bought a pair of sneakers, cos his shoes were spoilt...maybe due to too much walking!

Daddy & Mummy's dinner...

NEO-PRINTS....

A tired me...ready to fall asleep anytime!
